This is #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving to kick start your holiday season.
Because of our donors, in this year alone, Orphans Africa has seen water-born illness reduce, our orphan boy's at Mwaji Secondary School have a newly built dormitory for housing, students at Mwaji have a new dinning hall for eating, and students at Isandula have more materials to continue their residential vocational technology program. We have seen a number of students move into higher education. Empty bellies have been fed. Orphaned girls and boys have been housed and educated.
Orphans Africa is a small 501 (c) 3 nonprofit operating out of Tacoma, Washington dedicated to the education of orphans in Africa. Since it's inception in 2007 Orphans Africa has built three exception self-sustaining schools in Tanzania and runs one rented nursery school. At Orphans Africa's schools village students and village orphans have the opportunity to be educated breaking the cycle of poverty and allowing students to gain a skill set that will enable them to be contributors to their society. Orphans Africa's short-term goal is to construct campus infrastructure so that it can adequately accommodate the students' needs: educationally, emotionally, and physically and ultimately we hope to raise a generation of leaders; young adults who will help lead their country out of its crushing poverty.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 this #GivingTuesday on November 28th, 2017.
Will you help us continue to educate orphans in Africa? Will you help us spread the word? Will you be a world changer?
